博士,讲席教授。国家自然科学基金委“杰出青年基金”获得者,国家自然科学基金委“着丝粒动态组装与调控”创新群体负责人,细胞动力学教育部重点实验室主任,化学生物学安徽省重点实验室主任。

1995年美国加州大学伯克利分校获细胞分子生物学博士学位,1997年受聘为美国威斯康星州医学院生理系助理教授。1999年入选“国家自然科学杰出青年基金”、入选“国家级人才项目”,组建细胞动力学教育部重点实验室。作为项目首席科学家主持了973 项目“调控细胞增殖重要蛋白质作用网络的研究”,国家重点研发计划项目“着丝粒蛋白质机器调控细胞命运抉择的分子机制”,基金委重大项目“染色体蛋白质机器组装的相分离与相变机制研究”。获美国Giannini学者奖、GCC Distinguished Scientist AwardACS Research Scholar Award等,入选美国胃肠医学会会士。曾/并担任国际期刊J Biol ChemCell DiscoveryCell Research编委,J Mol Cell BiolBMC Cell Biology副主编。兼任美国细胞生物学会国际事务部主任,美国Keystone Symposia Scientific Advisory Board委员,中国细胞生物学会副理事长,亚太细胞生物学联盟秘书长。中学生“英才计划”生物学科工作委员会委员。

围绕细胞增殖命运抉择的时空动力学分子机制,姚雪彪和他的科研团队联合应用比较基因组学、时空蛋白质组学与生物光子学方法,揭示了细胞分裂调控蛋白质机器着丝粒赖氨酸动态修饰的时空调控规律,阐明了调控染色体可塑性的丝氨酸-赖氨酸修饰动态交流机制,发现了后生代细胞分裂调控通路的新效应分子与相分离调控染色体可塑性新模式。其研究工作发表在CellNatureNat Cell BiolAnnual Reviews等顶级学术期刊,作为通讯作者在Cancer CellNat Rev Mol Cell BiolNat Cell BiolNat Chem BiolGastroenterologyCell ResearchPNASNat CommunCancer Research等国际学术期刊发表论文150 余篇。培养博士毕业生100余名,其中包括基金委“优青”、“国家海外高层次人才计划”;吴瑞奖、教育部“国家青年人才计划”、“中科院优秀博士论文”获得者;另有7生以“青千”回国,成为独立实验室PI
